Your journey begins with a pickup from Dar es Salaam and a scenic 4-hour drive to the Selous Game Reserve, where you'll spend two nights at the charming Rufiji River Camp. During your stay, take advantage of thrilling game drives and serene boat safaris to explore the diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes of the reserve. Afterward, you'll continue your adventure with a 6-hour drive to Mikumi National Park. Here, you'll enjoy more game drives and a restful overnight stay at Bastian Camp. Itinerary Day By Day
Day 1 | Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park
Morning pickup from airport/ferry in Dar es Salaam at 9:00am and drive to Nyerere National Park with lunches stop at restaurant in Kibiti, take a short break then proceed with the drive, arrive in afternoon and check in at the camp, then leave for evening boat drive at Rufiji river. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight at African Safari Selous Accommodation African Safari Selous Meal Plan: Lunch & Dinner
Day 2 | Full Day Nyerere National Park Game Drive
After breakfast from the camp with packed lunches enjoys game drive inside the park expect to see large number of animals like lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, hyena and etc. You will also see a large variety of birds, wonderful scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains. During afternoon you will take your lunch and have some rest before proceeds with the game drive and overnight at the Camp. Accommodation: African Safari Selous Meal Plan: Breakfast Lunch & Dinner
Day 3 | Nyerere National Park to Mikumi National Park
After breakfast with your lunch boxes drive to Mikumi National Park 6 hours driving, arrive for afternoon and evening game drive in Mikumi national park you will able to see zebras, impala, giraffe and elephants and dinner overnight at Bastian Camp

Day 4 | Full Day Mikumi Game Drive
After breakfast from lodge with packed lunches drive for full day game drive in Mikumi national park, during evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Bastian Camp. When you are in Mikumi you will be able to see wide variety of bird species, zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland antelope, giraffe, buffalo and elephants.

Day 5 | Mikumi to Dar es Salaam.
After early breakfast from lodge with the packed lunches you will drive back to Dar es Salaam. You will get a chance to spot/see animals since you’re passing through Mikumi National Park while departing to Dar es Salaam in which you’ll arrive at afternoon at hotel/ferry/airport for your next destination.
